 .
   * Remove the telemetry service and its daily device information reporting.
   * Drop telemetry from the service registry so it can no longer be enabled
     over D-Bus.
   * Do not install PyGObject from pip; use the python3-gi system package via
     the venv's --system-site-packages. Fixes the build in a minimal chroot,
     where pip tried to compile PyGObject and failed on missing pkg-config
     and cairo headers.
   * Stop tracking generated Debian build artifacts, which made dpkg-genchanges
     reference a stale 1.0.8 buildinfo.
